These two items are sold together. The Swiss Army Salt and Pepper Bread Bag and the 1951 Dated Mess Kit (Gamelle) 

Of course this is a used but very good condition bread bag and Mess Kit. Original dates.

The Bread Bag is different than many I've seen as it has webbing inside attaching the inner bag with the outer cover.
